Over the years, Martin has worked on numerous maritime cases involving serious catastrophic injuries including devastating back injuries, loss of limbs and victims of sexual assault.

Martin is a Senior Paralegal for Injury at Sea with over 15 years of experience. He supports attorneys by gathering, organizing, and preparing various documents and files for court cases. Martin regularly meets with attorneys, clients, or other legal professionals to gather helpful details about upcoming court cases. Martin performs investigations to fact-check information for different cases by searching through public records and other resources provided by clients. He is often an initial point of contact for new clients.
Martin enjoys working on maritime cases because they are challenging – each one is unique. He believes clients should never be victims of injuries at sea nor victims of employers and insurance companies that are looking to take advantage of their situation by not compensating them properly for their loss, particularly Spanish speaking clients.
Prior to joining IAS Attorneys, Martin worked for a personal injury law firm in Seattle. Before this he worked for a national third-party insurance administrator handing cases that included commercial transportation, residential and commercial property, construction injuries, and surveillance.
Outside of work, Martin enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
